We are excited to offer the Charter community a one week winter break camp! The camp will run from Monday December 18th- Friday December 22nd. It will provide a really fun learning environment for our little ones. We currently have 4 instructors lined up. Space may be limited (as a first come, first served basis) but we will attempt our best at including as many students as possible and may bring on more instructors to accommodate everyone!
aCtiViTIeS:
Activities during camp will include:
Arts & Crafts- a special project each day along with free time in the arts & crafts studio with our arts instructor to use your creativity and lots of art supplies!
Tumbles/ Dance- we will have a professional dance instructor use our ballet studio to teach the basics in dance (for both girls & boys) as well as gymnastics focusing on coordination
Theatre- the kids will have costumes (some of which they will help make) and work together on creating a performance for the end of the week
Reading- one instructor will provide a reading nook where children will be read books and will have the opportunity to pick books out from the “library.” Children will also be encouraged to read books to their classmates as well as to themselves
Learning/ STEM- the children will be taught lessons focusing on STEM as well as filling out worksheets aligned with the class curriculum
Outdoor Play- the children will have time to play on the playground and go on the “Amazing Hike.” There will also be outdoor games and time for exercise.
Games/ Puzzles- there will be lots of toys and puzzles for kids to have fun with as well as working on playing together and learning problem solving skills.
about the camp
Location: 25 Fitch Way, Princeton, NJ (The Finn’s house- KA student Sloan Finn and parents Jen & Rob Finn)
Dates: Monday December 18th- Friday December 22nd.
Hours: 9am- 3pm. However, parents will have the options of half days (from 9am- 1pm) and to do 3 days or 5 days. There will also be a “before and after hours” option from 8am-9am and 3pm-5pm. Please let Jen know if additional hours are needed as we are aiming to provide full coverage for families that need it.
Instructors: Jen Finn (m. Eident) will be hosting the camp at our house and will act as “lead instructor” and as the communications point of contact. We currently have 3 other instructors and details will be provided prior to the start time. A minimum of 5:1 ratio.

Full Day: 9am-3pm, 5 days a week: $500/ week (3 days- $375)
Half Day: 9am-1pm, 5 days a week: $300 (3 days- $200)
Before Care: 8am-9am- $15/ day; After Care 3pm-5pm: $30/ day
Lunch (Optional): Children can bring their own or pay $10/ day for lunch (pizza/ chicken tenders/ sandwiches, etc and a fruit and veggie)
Note: the majority of the fees will be used to purchase supplies and pay for the instructors (5:1 ratio)
DETAiLs
Please bring with your child a backpack, water bottle, lunch (if not purchasing), 2 snacks, a piece of paper that says the child’s name, your name and contact info, their grade. Please do not send your child sick. More details will be provided before the start of camp.
