The story behind our name and logo
The story behind our name and logo
Morrow Lane, LLC takes its name from Jennifer's inspiration, the Morrow women of her family, including her mother, grandmother and in memory of her ancestor, Anne Morrow Lindbergh. As the wife of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh, Anne didn't need to make a name for herself. But she did. In 1930, when the belief that women belonged in the home was particularly strong, Anne became the first American woman to earn a glider pilot’s license. Anne’s accomplishments might have ended there, or after the horrifying kidnapping of her first child, but they didn't. She went on to write many successful and highly-acclaimed books, including best-sellers and a winner of the inaugural National Book Award. Anne was considered a visionary and leader of the nascent environmental movement.
Great names beget great brands, but great people make the world for themselves. Anne Morrow was one of these: indomitable in spirit, forever aspiring to greater heights, and keenly aware of the changing world.
Morrow Lane’s logo, a biplane, is a symbol of Anne Morrow’s courage as well as the groundbreaking innovation in aviation achieved by Jennifer's grandfather, Ray Leoni, as chief designer and engineer of the the Black Hawk helicopter, that has saved countless lives.
Our name and logo symbolize our team's promise to aspire to the heights pioneered by these individuals and our commitment to the lofty goal of redefining the marketing industry.
